The CUTLAM®3.1 offers an unprecedented cutting capacity, the machine table can move forward and backward automatically over a distance of 300 mm. The cut-off wheel has an automatic and linear top-to-bottom movement. Thanks to this linear movement, 140 mm space is offered under the cutting wheel. It has a cover which includes opening side to cut bars.
The CUTLAM®3.1 has a large touch screen of 5.7 inches and an intuitive interface which makes it extremely easy to use. With the help of two joysticks located near the control screen, the 2 motorised axes of CUTLAM®3.1 can be contolled manually. The internal memory allows to save over 300 cutting programs, which can be imported or exported via USB port.
To prevent any deterioration or deformation of the samples, the rotation speed of the cutting wheel and the feed speed of the axes can be programmed. There are possible 3 cutting modes: manual, semi-automatic, and automatic and the axes movements can be continuous or sequenced.
Many cutting possibilities are offered: it is possible to cut vertically (along Z axis), over a maximum stroke of 200 mm or to cut horizontally (along Y axis), over a maximum stroke of 300 mm. It is possible also to combine the two Z and Y movements. This machine can optionally be equipped with a manual or automatic X axis for cutting parallel sections.
